We set out about eight obstacles, objects in a line, to serpentine thru.
The first few times, we lead the horse thru the obstacles. He should get the idea of the exercise. This is good for the horse's balance, paying attention to the handler and the obstacles, and bending his body.
When the horse knows how to serpentine, the second objective of the exercise is for the handler to stay on the outside of the obstacles, while the horse serpentines thru them.
It is very helpful to the horse if he knows the PNH 7 games, particularly the driving game which will help the handler send the horse thru the obstacles.
