fights the bit, and shows many evasions.
We should pay attention to what the horse is saying; perhaps the contact is too heavy and making
him uncomfortable, or the bit doesn't fit correctly and is causing him pain; or the noseband is too tight.
Sometimes the head is held by the rider in a position that cramps his parotid glands.
We need to listen to our horses and make things as comfortable for them as possible.
